Your first design is free in one of six free styles, with no signup and no card (available in the US, Canada, the UK and several European countries). All 75+ styles come with the $9.99, 30-day pass.

AI design for every room in the house.
Each room has its own guide: what the AI changes, the styles that suit it, and the mistakes worth avoiding.

Living room
Sofa, rug, wall color and light, on the living room you actually have.

Bedroom
Bed, bedding, headboard and a calmer palette for better sleep.

Kitchen
Walls, floor, counters and lighting around your real cabinets.

Bathroom
Tile, vanity, paint and light from one phone photo.

Studio apartment
Sleeping, eating and working zones in one open room.

Home office, dining room and more
Any room works: upload it on the free room designer.
Three steps, one room at a time.
- 01
Start with the room you use most
Upload a photo of it and pick a style. You get the same room back, redesigned, in about 30 seconds.
- 02
Find the style that fits the house
Try a few styles on that one room until one feels like home. Not sure? The 2-minute style quiz narrows it down.
- 03
Carry it through the other rooms
Upload the next room and use the same style, so the house reads as one home, not a set of separate showrooms.

Six ways to make a house feel like one home.
What designers do so rooms belong together, without everything matching.
01
Keep one palette, change the ratios
Use the same three or four colors throughout and change which one leads in each room. A blue accent in the living room can become the main color in a bathroom.
02
Repeat one wood and one metal
A single wood tone and one main metal for handles, lamps and fixtures, repeated across rooms, does more for flow than matching furniture.
03
Match the light, not just the paint
Use the same warmth of bulb everywhere. A warm living room next to a cold white hallway feels like two different houses.
04
Mind what you see from the doorway
Rooms that are visible from each other, such as a living room and kitchen, need to agree most. Rooms behind a closed door can go further.
05
Let one room be the exception
A powder room, a home office or a kid's bedroom is a good place for a bolder style. One exception reads as intentional; three read as indecision.
06
Start where you spend the most time
Settle the style on the room you live in most, then let the others follow. It is easier to stay consistent from a decision than to agree on five at once.
What AI home design does, and what it doesn't.
Many searches for an AI house design generator are really about floor plans or exteriors. Here is exactly where Decoratly fits.
It does
- Redesign any interior room from one photo: living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, office, dining room, nursery.
- Keep each room's walls, windows, doors and layout, so the result is your home, not a stock room.
- Try the same style in every room so the whole house fits together.
- Run on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install.
It doesn't
- Design a house exterior, a facade or a new house from scratch.
- Draw a floor plan or measured layout. For that, see our room layout planner guide.
- Move walls or windows. It works with the architecture you have.

Home design questions, answered straight.
What is AI home design?
Software that redesigns the rooms of your home from photos. With Decoratly you upload a photo of a room, choose a style, and get the same room back with new furniture, colors, finishes and lighting in about 30 seconds, keeping the walls, windows and layout. Do that room by room and you can plan the whole house.
Can AI design my whole house?
It can redesign every interior room, one photo at a time, and you can use the same style in each so the house fits together. It does not design the exterior or the floor plan, and it does not move walls.
Is AI home design free?
Your first design is free, with no signup and no card, in one of six free styles: Warm Minimalist, Modern Studio, Hygge Haven, Botanical Greenhouse, Sunwashed Terracotta and Velvet Nightfall. It is offered in the US, Canada, the UK and several European countries. For a whole house, the $9.99 pass gives you 30 days with 200 designs, all 75+ styles and the edit tools, paid once with no subscription.
Is this an AI house design generator?
Not the kind that invents a house from a text prompt. Decoratly redesigns the home you already have, from your own photos, so every result fits your real rooms. It works on interiors only: it does not design exteriors, facades or floor plans.
How do I keep one style across different rooms?
Pick the style on the room you use most, then use the same style on every other room. Keep one color palette, one wood tone and one main metal, and the same warmth of light bulbs. The style switcher on this page shows the same style in a living room, a bedroom and a kitchen.
Is Decoratly the same as the Home AI app?
No. Home AI is a different company's app. Decoratly is an independent AI interior design app, built and run by Kamil Uhryn since November 2023, with its own free design and a one-time $9.99 pass.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in your phone's browser, so you can photograph a room and upload it straight away, with nothing to download.
Your whole home starts with one photo.
The first design is free. No account, nothing to install.
Who makes this
Decoratly is built and run by Kamil Uhryn and has been live since November 2023. 25,000+ rooms have been redesigned with it. Every room on this page was photographed on a phone and redesigned by the app, with the same model and style prompts you get.
