Formula: Square footage + 10% waste
Example: 200 sq ft room = 220 sq ft of hardwood needed
Tile Flooring
Formula: Square footage + 10-15% waste

Carpet
Formula: Square footage + 5% waste

Wall Paint
Formula: (Perimeter × Wall Height) ÷ 350 sq ft per gallon
